Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Primary Care - Pocono Summit

The Advanced Practitioner (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) is responsible for providing healthcare services to patients under the supervision of, and/or in collaboration with, the attending physician. The job requires competency in assessment, treatment, counseling, and education of patients, and participation in patient satisfaction, quality, and performance improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or Medical Physician Assistant with current license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania or New Jersey
• Competency in assessing, treating, counseling, and educating patients
• Participation in patient satisfaction, quality, and performance improvement initiatives
• Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and institutions
• Ability to maintain professional and technical knowledge through ongoing education and training
• Ability to perform physical demands of the job, including sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and bending
