Job Description
The Radiology Student Intern performs diagnostic radiographic procedures adhering to the principle of radiation protection under the supervision of a registered technologist.
Requirements
- Properly identifies and performs diagnostic radiographic services on patients
- Assumes responsibility for assigned area and maintains equipment and supplies
- Demonstrates competency in RIS/HIS modules and adheres to downtime procedures
- Maintains responsibility for own professional development
- Provides educational information to patients
- Knowledgeable regarding patient condition and history
- Accountable for quality of digital images sent to PACS
