Archives & Heritage Lead - QLD

We are seeking a storyteller with a passion for preservation to manage and document the archives collection in line with professional preservation requirements and archival principles. The successful candidate will animate history through creative exhibitions, tours, and digital storytelling that resonates with all our staff.

Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of archival principles and preservation requirements for both documents and museum collections
• Proven capacity to research and communicate St Vincent’s history in an engaging manner to diverse audiences
• Ability to work effectively with stakeholders, including the Sisters of Charity Heritage Centre and internal Mission teams
• Tertiary qualifications relevant to the role (or significant professional experience) and eligibility for membership with the Australian Society of Archivists
• A deep commitment to the philosophy and values of St Vincent’s
