Job Description
Stack is seeking strong software and machine learning engineers to develop and deploy motion planning components for next-generation self-driving systems. This role focuses on building safe, reliable, and optimized motion planning algorithms in real-time, with a focus on both autonomous and human-centric components. The team collaborates across multiple domains and involves significant cross-functional interactions to deliver a compelling product.
Requirements
- Strong C++ & Python skills, particularly in resource-constrained environments
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
- Experience developing code for real-world robotics/semi-autonomous platforms
- Eagerness to work across the decision making stack, even on components that may not perfectly align with past experience
- Familiarity with resource-constrained computing is a plus
- Willingness to work in a U.S. office (Pittsburgh or Remote) and potentially work under U.S. export control regulations.
