Job Description
We are seeking a Procurement Officer/Purchaser to manage our purchasing function and procurement activities in the metal fabricator industry.
Requirements
- Manage the overall purchasing function and procurement activities.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) to suppliers in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to fulfill order requirements and meet delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Identify and source alternative suppliers, vendors, or subcontractors as needed.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to achieve cost-effectiveness and favorable terms.
- Handle general administrative tasks and data entry duties as required.
