Job Description
The Assistant Director, Vocational Nursing (Evenings/Weekends) role is a key leadership position that oversees the daily operations of the VN program, focusing on evening and weekend cohorts. The successful candidate will provide operational management, faculty leadership, and support for student success, while ensuring compliance with regulations and accreditation standards.
Requirements
- Current, active, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- Bachelor’s degree from a BVNPT-approved school required
- Minimum of three (3) years as a Registered Nurse
- At least one (1) year of teaching or clinical supervision in a state-approved nursing program (VN or RN), within the last five (5) years; or three (3) years in nursing administration or education within the last five (5) years
