Job Description
Join StandardAero as an Aircraft Engine Detail Inspector (Component Repair) and build your career with integrity in a clean and safe work environment. You'll work with your team to implement processes and practices to ensure flight and product efficiency, performing visual and dimensional inspections on engines, accessories, and related components. On-the-job training and a team of experts will set you up for success.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledgeable and proficient in the proper use of precision measuring equipment
- Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints
- Knowledgeable in and ability to identify and interpret conditions on products that are the result of service operation
- Ability to use and interpret publications used in the production process
- Ability to complete the Detail Inspector Training & Development Plan
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds (unassisted) for approximately 25% of the average work day
- Regularly required to sit for prolonged periods
- Ability to work day shift, evening shift, or weekend shift, as required
- Must be authorized to work in the US
