As an Engine Technician at StandardAero, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working environment, conducting work in accordance with company policies and industry regulations, and ensuring exceptional quality standards throughout all processes.
Requirements
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Conduct all work in accordance with company policies, health and safety procedures, quality procedures, manufactures and customer specification and industry regulations.
- Raise Non-conformance reports as necessary.
- Carry out extensive Inventory of components/accessories.
- Disassemble accessories to an acceptable level depending on customer/OEM manual requirements.
- Carry out cleaning of components as appropriate and according to manual instruction.
- Inspect all relevant components and identify items for serviceability, scrap, rework or refit using product information and OEM manuals.
- Assemble accessories to defined manual standard ensuring fit, clearance and modification levels are accurate.
- Prepare/set up accessories for testing.
- Test accessories and ensure all test standards/limits are met, to required OEM specifications.
- Carry out final checks on accessories ensuring all paperwork is appropriately stamped.
- Maintain exceptional quality standards throughout all processes in a safety conscious manner.
- Continuously meet expected turn time targets, working efficiently and methodically to achieve this.
- Adhere to the Company Information and Protection Policy (IPP).
- Adherence to our Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and all associated Business Manuals.
- Carry out any other reasonable request within current competence level.
- Willing to work flexible/extra working hours to cover production work load requirements.
- Assist in the training of team members ensuring best practice standards are maintained.
- Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external departments.
- Self-development will be the responsibility of the post-holder.
- Training and development will be identified and opportunities sought to increase personal effectiveness.
