Job Description
As a Machinist at StandardAero, you will build an aviation career with a great team, completing machining functions from start to finish and working with manual machine tools. You will also read and interpret specification manuals, blueprints, and layouts to determine machining operations.
Requirements
- 3 or more years of experience as a Machinist including operating lathes or mills.
- 3 or more years of experience reading/interpreting manuals and technical drawings, utilizing hands tools, and working with precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, gauges, micrometers).
- 3 or more years of experience with manual machine tools operations.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance
- Ability to stand for 5 plus hours at a time
