Job Description
Build an Aviation Career You're Proud Of. This position is eligible for a bonus up to $20,000. Perform internal and external sheet metal repairs and modifications to all aircraft serviced at the facility, research and develop repair schemes using blueprints, and fabricate various sheet metal parts.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years aircraft sheet metal experience
- Familiar with avionics and antenna installs
- Proven mechanical and technical aptitude
- Proven experience using a variety of hand and power tools, including precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, protractors, etc.)
- Prior experience operating sheet metal machinery to fabricate units with complex contours and multiple angles
- Must know how to calculate, bend and perform roll allowances
- Strong communication skills required, both verbal and written
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds
- Ability to work overtime, as needed
