We are seeking a Team Lead, Treasury Services to oversee the successful delivery of treasury operation functions, including daily forecasting, intraday liquidity, and cash management. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in banking operations, including 2 years of experience in funding and liquidity management.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 year's relevant experience in any Banking operations
- Minimum 2 years’ experience of funding and liquidity management
- Prior experience in business facing support functions - particularly Treasury and/or FX
- Prior people mentor experience
- Prior experience in Payments, Settlements / Confirmations (Securities, FX, Rates.) is useful
- Good verbal & written English communication
- Excellent assessing capabilities
- Proficient in PC skills, particularly MS Office
- Good people management skills.
- Prioritization and Delegation of activities
- Problem solving / Trouble shooting skills
- Ability to identify, mitigate and eliminate risks in processes.
- Expert knowledge of forecasting, IDL and cash management functions and processes (funding driver and variance explains, payment scheduling/throughput, cash sweeps)
- Strong knowledge of Central Bank, Nostros, Vostros
- Knowledge in IDL and related areas - systems and processes linked to IDL management and optimization, peak usage, stress metrics and associated HQLA buffers
- Knowledge in front to back flows, particularly related to payments and settlements across asset classes is useful
- Good knowledge of MT / ISO payment and statement related messages (PACS, CAMT, MT9x, MT5x)
