Fuel Injector - Manufacturing Engineer

Established in 1919, Standard Motor Products is a leading independent manufacturer and distributor of premium automotive replacement parts. Perform all duties necessary to develop new production methods and improve existing methods for the Fuel Injector Manufacturing Department.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer skills, MS Office and CAD software (AutoCAD, ProEngineer, SolidWorks)
• Experience developing tooling and equipment specifications
• Experience with tooling and equipment vendors (quotations, contracts, and delivery/installation, project management)
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma tools or other problem solving tools
• Experience developing/monitoring/improving complete manufacturing processes
• Experience with TS16949 requirements
• Proven track record of “on schedule/under budget” project management
