Job Description
Conduct engineering research, design, and development for assigned projects, working independently or as a team member, while receiving or providing limited assistance from/to other team members where necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelorās degree (BS/BA) or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school in mechanical engineering
- One to four years of general engineering experience preferred
- Requires experience with 3D modeling software
- Machining and other manufacturing processes familiarity (e.g. plastic molding, die stamping, metal casting, welding etc.)
- Solenoid and/or contactor relay design
- DFMEA/PFMEA
- Plastics design
- Heat Sink Design
- MRP systems
- FEA software
- GD&T
- Solidworks
- Ability to read basic electrical schematics
