Resale - Planner

Established in 1919, Standard Motor Products is a leading independent manufacturer and distributor of premium automotive replacement parts. The Resale Planner will assume full responsibility for planning requirements and supply chain management to ensure timely delivery of goods within budget and/or standard costs.

Requirements

• Plan, schedule, and monitor goods and services to meet the production requirements of the company
• Set-up and maintain material, supplier and planning system data in the MRP/ERP system
• Demonstrate working knowledge of goods, services and sources of supply to make purchases at prices consistent with quality and quantity requirements
• Determine material requirements from production schedules and coordinate the efficient movement of materials through production cycle
• Work with Receiving, Packaging and Shipping departments to reconcile discrepancies
