Job Description
The Medical Assistant II performs clinical tasks and procedures to support the delivery of care, assists patients, and coordinates patient care. The position requires a high school diploma, medical assistant diploma, and one to three years of related experience. The Medical Assistant II works independently and exercises judgment within defined guidelines to determine appropriate action.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Medical Assistant Diploma from an approved school/institution or equivalent documented training
- One (1) to three (3) years of related experience
- Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
