Trade Compliance Analyst

As a Trade Compliance Analyst, you will be part of a dedicated team based in Mississauga, Ontario supporting in all functions related to Canada Customs Compliance, and reporting to the Trade Compliance Manager. This position will be accountable for the administrative activities associated with the import and export operations as well as providing data analysis for metrics and other critical reporting.

Requirements

• College/University Degree, CCS or CTCS designation preferred
• Knowledge & understanding of Canadian Customs regulations and Import/Export procedures including CARM portal capability.
• Knowledge of CSA, SWI, ECCC, HTS Classification, Drawback & the CARM Client Portal.
• 3-5 years’ experience in compliance; Certified Customs Specialist a plus
• Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative
• Must be detailed oriented and able to handle multiple tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Access, and Word
• Familiar with SAP & other enterprise systems.
• High level of computer aptitude including extract of data between various software packages
