Electrical Designer

Stantec's Buildings team is seeking an Electrical Designer to work directly with design engineers to produce drawings from sketches, existing drawings and electronic images. The ideal candidate will design drawings based on written and verbal descriptions, set up new Revit projects, and develop Electrical construction documentation.

Requirements

• Design drawings based on written and verbal descriptions from design engineers
• Set up new Revit projects based on existing project templates
• Develop Electrical construction documentation under supervision
• Develop Electrical construction models in Revit as part of a BIM team
• Create detailed field installation drawings and fabrication drawings
• Work from both customer and firm drawings
• Perform file management functions
• Provide technical support for existing projects and field service
• Attend coordination meetings and communicate with other trades
