Job Description
Stantec Buildings is seeking an Electrical Designer/EIT to join their multi-disciplinary team in Houston, TX. The successful candidate will produce electrical design and construction documents, work with electrical engineers, and perform calculations using company standard software. The role involves coordination with multidisciplinary teams, construction site observation visits, and occasional travel (<10%).
Requirements
- Produce aspects of electrical design and construction documents in Revit and/or AutoCAD
- Ensure designs meet applicable codes and regulations
- Perform calculations using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams during design and construction
- Perform construction site observation visits, assist with review of project submittals and RFIs
- Support managers to ensure projects stay within established budget constraints
- Maintain high satisfaction rating from clients through superior service, quality workmanship, timely production and thorough understanding of client requirements
