The Engineering Design Manager will lead the design efforts on industrial projects such as Semiconductor Manufacturing, Data Centers, and other Advanced Manufacturing projects. They will be responsible for forecasting, organizing, and reporting on project design development and production delivery, as well as collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and managing project execution.
Requirements
- Forecast, organize, monitor, and report on project design development and production delivery
- Execute and enforce the project execution plan
- Coordinate with consultants, team members and the client
- Collaborate with project team to ensure design and production resources are assigned to meet the project's overall cost, quality, schedule and forecast commitments are current
- Point of contact for internal design related issues
- Support the project manager for external project communications with the client
- Perform inter-disciplinary quality, coordination, and space management reviews with project teams
- Address project following protocol and procedure to reach the best solution
- Work with client/owner contractor relationships, budget, code and jurisdictional requirements
- Offer onsite assistance in constructions observation
- Network to build relationships with new clients and return clients
