Job Description
This geotechnical engineer role focuses on projects within transportation, dam, power, and infrastructure, contributing innovative ideas and collaborating with a team. The position involves geotechnical field work, data review, calculations, and assisting senior engineers with analyses and preparations for construction. It is a routine-oriented role suitable for engineers with less complex assignments.
Requirements
- Assists in planning and coordinating geotechnical field investigations.
- May perform field work related to geotechnical explorations and/or construction activities.
- Reviews boring logs and laboratory data.
- Conducts basic calculations and performs other duties of a similar nature.
- Assists in preparing designs, drawings, specifications, presentations and reports.
- Assists in supporting multi-discipline teams during construction.
