Requirements

• Assume the role of main structural designer for medium to large scale industrial projects.
• Design structural solutions adapted to complex industrial contexts.
• Ensure technical supervision of candidates for the profession of structural engineer (CPI) involved in the execution of structural projects.
• Review, validate and comment the calculations performed by the CPI, and ensure the responsibility of engineering documents (plans and quotations) in accordance with the requirements of the Quebec Engineering Order.
• Monitor budget hours for the discipline, as well as compliance with deadlines and delivery of deliverables.
• Maintain direct involvement in the structural design as the principal designer.
• Participate in the development of technical service offers in the context of potential projects.
• Be called upon to exercise in the role of Project Manager for multidisciplinary small to medium to large scale and multidisciplinary in-house projects.
