We are seeking an Intermediate Environmental Planner to work with our Assessment and Permitting Team. The successful candidate will provide support to all stages of a project’s lifecycle, including assessment, permitting, and approval requirements.
Requirements
- Assess habitat condition within natural environment and conduct or coordinate field surveys.
- Collect, maintain, and analyze ecological data.
- Plan and implement ecological restoration projects and park management plans.
- Coordinate with engineering disciplines and other biological disciplines to prepare deliverables.
- Work directly with clients to provide strategic environmental advice and project management throughout all stages of a project’s lifecycle.
- Prepare and review environmental evaluations, regulatory applications, and technical submissions.
- Support and ensure implementation of Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
- Drive project delivery with a key focus on efficient execution, project controls, and safety.
- Work in a collaborative team of technical environmental and engineering specialists to support the approval and permitting process.
- Contribute to proposals, pre-qualifications, and relationship building with existing and prospective clients.
- Communicate and collaborate with other environmental and regulatory specialists to ensure consistency in project execution.
- Participate in team and independent-based work.
