Intermediate Vegetation Ecologist

We're seeking an Intermediate Vegetation Ecologist to join our terrestrial environmental services team. The position will involve leading and conducting wetland assessments, vegetation inventories, and environmental assessments for various projects.

Requirements

• Lead and conduct wetland assessments and vegetation inventories
• Conduct environmental assessments for municipal, provincial, and federally regulated projects
• Work on natural resource planning projects, including natural area inventories and biophysical assessments
• Support preparation of project scopes and budgets
• Interact directly with clients, regulators, and stakeholders
• Attend client meetings and participate in regulatory strategy development
• Ensure Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures are adhered to
• Provide training, technical direction and mentoring to less experienced staff
