Job Description
We are seeking an Intermediate Water Resources Engineer / Hydrologist to join our Environmental Services team in Atlantic Canada. The successful candidate will contribute to mine water management services across all phases of mining projects.
Requirements
- Support technical analyses related to mine water management
- Assist in the development and updating of water balance models
- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses
- Contribute to the design and evaluation of water management infrastructure
- Support preparation of technical reports, figures, and regulatory submissions
- Assist in the design, implementation, and interpretation of water monitoring programs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate water resources into broader mine design and environmental assessments
- Participate in field programs as required
- Follow internal quality assurance processes and support high-quality project delivery
- Maintain awareness of applicable regulations, guidelines, and evolving best practices
- Promote a strong health and safety culture, particularly during fieldwork
