Lead Civil Engineer- Non Infra-Water

Stantec is seeking a Lead Civil Engineer for its Water group in Pune, India. The role involves designing and documenting water and wastewater treatment projects using civil engineering techniques and software, and managing day-to-day liaison with project managers and engineers to ensure project deliverables meet client scope, budget, timescale, and quality requirements.

Requirements

• Engineering and designing water and wastewater treatment plants (WTP and WWTP)
• Leading the technical delivery of various water/wastewater treatment projects
• Managing day-to-day liaison with Regional Project Managers and engineers
• Supporting the team leader with resource and other management duties
• Driving innovation and digital delivery
• Supporting the technical development of engineers and technicians
• Designing hydraulics for treatment units, associated piping/channels, and site drainage
• Conducting outline design and optioneering
• Performing detailed design, checks, and reviews
• Preparing technical reports
• Designing yard piping, pipe fittings, and connection details
• Coordinating and advising designers to prepare detailed drawings
• Liaising with suppliers
• Occasionally working off-hours for client coordination
• Occasionally traveling offshore for training or on-site work
