Senior Civil Designer

The Senior Civil Designer is responsible for delivering high-quality engineering detailing services that support the successful execution of consultancy projects.

Requirements

• Review engineering inputs and plan design activities without altering the approved design intent.
• Prepare plant and site layouts, general arrangement drawings, and associated documentation.
• Develop and visualize 3D models using tools such as Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, and MicroStation.
• Ensure designs comply with project specifications, are safe to construct, and meet environmental and sustainability requirements.
• Apply standard practices and details wherever possible, adapting proven solutions from previous projects to current requirements.
• Adhere to established quality procedures, ensuring all drawings, models, and records are properly prepared, reviewed, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate effectively with BIM/CAD Leads, multidisciplinary designers, and engineers to achieve integrated project delivery.
• Maintain project documentation, including drawings, schedules, and design records, in line with company and client requirements.
• Identify and promptly report any design or detailing issues to the appropriate project personnel.
• Comply with all health and safety standards in design and detailing activities.
• Consider environmental impacts during design development and actively support sustainable design practices.
