Job Description
Join our team as a Senior Civil Engineer to lead projects, grow and manage our Knoxville office, and collaborate with teams across the southeast. As a leader, you will have the opportunity to expand your engineering knowledge, grow into different sectors, lead business development efforts, and get involved with teams around the country working on interesting and innovative projects that directly influence the communities we live in.
Requirements
- Developing and maintaining a strong culture in the Knoxville office
- Contributing to multiple projects simultaneously
- Growing internal and external networks to enhance Stantec's reputation
- Recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding staff across key water disciplines
- Providing mentoring, training, supervision and leadership for junior staff
- Serving as Engineer-of-Record on projects
- Supervising the work of other engineers
- Maintaining and enhancing our reputation with clients, approval agencies, and industry professionals
