Senior Electrical Engineer

Stantec's Buildings team is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to work with experienced engineers and architects to prepare building electrical plans and specifications.

Requirements

• Act as a technical leader and design manager for multiple simultaneous design projects
• Establish schedules and provide regular maintenance of design schedules
• Perform site surveys using basic surveying tools and electrical safety equipment
• Prepare project documentation including electrical equipment layouts and schedules
• Provide construction administration services to contractors
• Specify electrical equipment
• Modeling and analysis of normal and emergency power distribution systems
• Design and modeling of lighting and associated control systems
• Mentor and work with junior design staff
