Job Description
Join Stantec's Buildings team as a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to design and lead projects of high complexity, develop and grow a fire protection engineering group, and supervise staff. The role involves conducting code reviews, preparing technical reports, leading project meetings, and developing new standards and specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of experience in fire protection engineering with a strong understanding of building codes and standards
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to develop staff skills and abilities
- Excellent technical writing and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and lead projects of high complexity
- Strong organizational and project management skills
