Job Description
Stantec is seeking a Senior Hydrotechnical/Water Resources Engineer to join their growing British Columbia Water Resources team. The role involves leading engineering design for river infrastructure, watercourse crossings, fish habitat restoration, flood mapping, and project management. Stantec supports a hybrid work arrangement balancing in-office and remote work.
Requirements
- Leading engineering design for river infrastructure (intakes, outfalls, dams, etc.)
- Watercourse crossings (bridges, pipelines, roads, and other linear infrastructure)
- Fish habitat and watercourse restoration using bioengineering
- Flood inundation and flood hazard mapping
- Project management, contract administration, and budget control
- Proposal writing and business development
