Senior Mechanical Engineer

Stantec's Buildings team is on a mission to become the world's leading integrated design practice. We're looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical engineering and design on projects and serve as the engineer of record.

Requirements

• Lead mechanical engineering and design on projects and serve as the engineer of record;
• Provide QAQC services in alignment with firm Quality Process Manual;
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Design Managers/Project Engineers for deliverables and Basis of Design;
• Oversee load calculations, systems design, cross-discipline coordination, and signing and sealing of contract documents;
• Conduct LCCA Analysis;
• Mentor junior engineers and participating in in-house continuing education programs;
• Coordinate with Department Head and Focus Leads for resource allocation;
• Manage Construction Administration phase of a project including submittal review, RFI responses, and site visit proficiency;
• Strong working knowledge of Revit, including Revit Schedules and sequences of operation;
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor.
