Senior Mechanical Engineer

Stantec's Buildings team is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design of various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be a skilled problem-solver, and have experience with BIM technologies.

Requirements

• Responsible for projects of various complexity/size
• Evaluates, selects, specifies, and designs all mechanical engineered systems or products for a project
• Utilizes BIM technologies in development of three-dimensional models of building's mechanical systems
• Leads project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants
• Participates in client project requirement meetings, value analysis, and basic cost estimating
• Assists with developing and managing the project scope, budget, staffing and schedule
• Performs and oversees the performance of calculations using company standard software, and proprietary manufacturer software
