Job Description
Stantec's Buildings team is on a mission to become the world's leading integrated design practice. We're looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join Stantec's Buildings practice, supporting the planning, design, and delivery of mechanical building systems across a range of complex projects.
Requirements
- Lead mechanical engineering and design on projects and serve as the engineer of record;
- Provide QAQC services in alignment with firm Quality Process Manual;
- Coordinate with Project Managers and Design Managers/Project Engineers for deliverables and Basis of Design;
- Oversee load calculations, systems design, cross-discipline coordination, and signing and sealing of contract documents;
- Conduct LCCA Analysis
- Mentor junior engineers and participating in in-house continuing education programs;
- Coordinate with Department Head and Focus Leads for resource allocation;
- Manage Construction Administration phase of a project including submittal review, RFI responses, and site visit proficiency;
- Strong working knowledge of Revit, including Revit Schedules and sequences of operation;
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor.
