Senior Drilling Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Drilling Engineer to oversee all aspects of drilling operations, from planning and design to execution and evaluation. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the drilling team to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Develop and implement drilling plans and procedures in accordance with project requirements and company policies
• Conduct technical reviews and analysis of drilling programs to identify potential risks and recommend solutions
• Collaborate with geologists, reservoir engineers, and other team members to optimize well design and placement
• Monitor drilling progress and make real-time decisions to ensure efficient and safe operations
• Conduct post-well analysis and provide recommendations for future projects
• Manage and mentor junior engineers and drilling personnel
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising safety or quality
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers
• Keep up-to-date with industry developments and incorporate new technologies and techniques into drilling operations
