Job Description
The Minnesota Star Tribune is seeking a dynamic leader to join their advertising team as an intern. The internship will provide hands-on experience in ad operations, marketing, and sales, and is a feeder program to future Star Tribune careers. The ideal candidate will have a focus on sales and/or marketing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for journalism and democracy.
Requirements
- Gain an understanding of Microsoft Dynamics, LinkedIn Navigator, Google Analytics, and digital marketing
- Learn prospecting techniques and tips to reach decision-makers, and develop the skills to create professional presentations for proposals and reporting
- Develop knowledge around constructing & auditing digital ad campaigns
- Build relationships with our Account Executives, Ad Operations, Marketing, and Content teams
- Must be a junior, senior, or recent grad in undergraduate college studies, with a focus on sales and/or marketing
