Job Description
MN Star Tribune is seeking a full-time Mechanic for its Fleet Department to perform scheduled preventative maintenance and necessary repairs to trucks and cargo vans. The Mechanic will work with a high degree of independence and be responsible for diagnosing failures, performing preventative maintenance, and maintaining vehicle records.
Requirements
- Driverâs license: CDL - A or CDL - B
- Mechanical knowledge of gas, propane, and diesel repair
- Experience with hydraulic and air brake systems
- Knowledge of internal combustible engines
- Proficient in using diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and personal computer
