Senior Electrical/Electronic Engineer SME

Role Overview

Torch Technologies is seeking a Senior level Electrical/Electronic Engineer to provide support to the Air Force at Eglin AFB, FL. The successful candidate will work on advanced weapon concepts and technologies, identifying and developing technology investment ideas to mitigate capability gaps for warfighters.

What You Will Do

The Electrical Engineer will assist in generating system and subsystem requirements, performing complex system and subsystem tradeoff studies, and preparing technical documents. They will also monitor S&T development progress, evaluate requirements, and review hardware and software development plans.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a strong weapon systems engineering background, knowledge of multi-spectral observables/signature management design, and experience with computational electromagnetic prediction techniques. They will also be able to think deeply and deliberately on methods to harness new or existing technologies and work well with others in a small high-performing team environment.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and/or Physics
• At least 10 years' of applicable experience
• Current TOP SECRET security clearance with a background investigation completed within the past 5 years
