Data Centre Critical Infrastructure Engineer

The Data Centre Critical Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for performing day-to-day operations and maintenance of facilities systems at StarHub Data Centres and Offices, ensuring strict security systems, and managing new leases and existing ones.

Requirements

• Appropriate qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Telecommunications or Facilities Management
• At least 2 yrs of work experience in facilities area, in particular Data Centre environment
• Good understanding and hands-on servicing experience in all facilities systems and building maintenance
• Class 3 Driving Lesson (Manual Gear)
• Basic networking, broadband access and structure cabling
• Computer literate with knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, AutoCAD
• Hands on experience in provisioning and configuration of network elements switches, CPE and services
• Self motivated with strong drive and the willingness to take on challenges
• Good written and oral communications skills
• Good working attitude with minimum supervision and ability to perform under pressure
• Possess initiative and professionalism with the ability to multi task
• Service oriented manner is essential
