Senior Engineer (Mobile Core Operations)

StarHub Ltd is seeking a Senior Engineer for Mobile Core Operations, focusing on 4G/5G Network Nodes (SMSC, SMSGW, MNP, STP, SMSF, VAS). This role involves system maintenance, security hardening, network monitoring, troubleshooting, and collaboration with content providers. The position requires experience with Mobile 4G &5G core network protocols and working during a late night maintenance window.

Requirements

• Appropriate qualification in Electronics/ Communications/ Networking or equivalent
• Good technical knowledge of Mobile 4G &5G Core network and related service /call flows and associated protocols
• Ability to perform end-to-end network service troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of Network and Application Securities
• Basic knowledge of IP switching and routing protocols
• Basic proficiency in programming and scripting skills
• Basic knowledge of Linux and VM platform
