Senior Security Engineer

StarHub is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to support cybersecurity initiatives, conduct risk assessments, and contribute to incident response. The role involves collaborating with various teams to embed security requirements into infrastructure and ensure compliance with policies. Strong technical skills and proactive approach to security issues are essential.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related fields
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., GCIH, GCFA, CISA, CISSP, SSCP) are advantageous or in progress
• 3–5 years’ experience in cybersecurity, risk assessment, and BCM
• Strong hands-on technical exposure
• Proven experience in log/activity review, vulnerability management, and incident response
• Strong decision-making skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• On-call availability during critical cybersecurity incidents
