Job Description
The Audiology Extern will complete clinical practice requirements for the Au.D. Degree, treat and fit patients, and receive practical experience in hearing aid fittings, sales, and sales protocol. Responsibilities include assessment of hearing loss, tinnitus, and balance disorders, and providing services to adult and pediatric patients.
Requirements
- Current enrollment and good standing in accredited Audiology graduate program
- Audiology and Dispensing Temporary Licensure in state of employment, license in good standing
- Minimum one year of clinical practice experience
- Ability to learn and use software systems including: Hearing Fusion, NOAH and Inspire OS
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
