Job Description
The Airline Underwriter will be responsible for underwriting profitable business for all sub lines of Airline Insurance, developing broker relationships, and exploring client and company knowledge to identify and optimize cross-selling opportunities.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of class of business
- Knowledge of Lloyd's and London Market processing arrangements for premiums and claims
- Up-to-date knowledge of claims to inform future underwriting decisions
- Understanding of Business Plan
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Negotiation, judgment and decision making skills
- Strong numeracy skills
- Professional business writing and presentation skills
- Strong communicator, both written and oral
