Job Description
This is an administrative assistant position that provides support to the Division Director and Deputy Directors of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission's Division of Habitat and Species Conservation. The position requires independence, strong communication skills, and knowledge of the Commission's operations and policies. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating staff assignments, evaluating processes, and serving as a liaison between the Division and the Executive Director's Office.
Requirements
- High school diploma and eight years of professional experience in systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation, or administrative work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to function across FWC's organizational structure by providing skills and expertise wherever needed
- Knowledge of Microsoft suite
- Knowledge of public records processes
- Knowledge of Florida purchasing, Human Resource and Travel policies and guidelines
