Job Description
Child Protective Investigator position at the Department of Children and Families. Conduct investigations of abuse, neglect, and special conditions for children. Collect information, assess danger threats, and provide families with service linkages to agency and community resources. Must have high school diploma or equivalent, four years of law enforcement experience, or associate degree and two years of professional work experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Four years of law enforcement experience or active military service
- Associate degree or 60+ credit hours from an accredited college or university
- Two years of professional work experience or two years of law enforcement experience or active military service
- Valid Driver License
- Operational private vehicle for use in daily work activities
