Job Description
The Eligibility Specialist I position involves determining the eligibility of applicants and recipients for government assistance programs, including Food Assistance, Medicaid, and Cash Assistance. The role requires strong customer service and communication skills, as well as the ability to navigate computer systems and make eligibility determinations based on complex regulations.
Requirements
- Two years or more of customer service, interviewing, recruiting, investigating, accounting, processing insurance policies or determining eligibility
- Associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university
- Ability to attend an 8-12 week mandatory training course
