Job Description
The ELIGIBILITY SPECIALIST II will provide back-up to the unit's supervisor in day-to-day duties, including reviewing cases, giving feedback, and providing training to unit members. The ESS II will handle a high volume of work and be flexible to change with little notice.
Requirements
- At least 2 years' experience working in the Office of Economic Self-Sufficiency determining eligibility for food stamps, Medicaid, and Cash assistance as an Eligibility Specialist.
- Knowledge of public assistance program objectives and policies.
- Ability to perform complex arithmetic operations.
- Ability to conduct fact-finding interviews.
- Ability to accurately prepare and maintain records and reports.
