Fire Protection Specialist performs fire safety inspections of state-owned buildings and facilities, enforces laws related to fire prevention, and conducts comprehensive technical inspections of fire protection and suppression systems.

Requirements

• Fire Safety Inspector Certification
• Valid driver license
• 1 year experience in fire code enforcement or building code enforcement
• Experience conducting building construction inspections
• 1 year experience working with computers
• Familiarity with Florida Statutes 633 and Florida Administrative Code 69A
