INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY INTERNSHIP

The State of Florida is seeking motivated individuals to join our workforce as Information Technology Interns. Our internship opportunities offer a unique chance to experience state government operations and obtain valuable on-the-job training in areas such as Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Desktop Support, and Network Engineering.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to work independently as well as with others
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively
• Ability to test, trouble shoot and resolve errors in operating systems
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access...)
• Basic knowledge of various operating systems
• Basic knowledge of security protocols, best practices and common vulnerabilities
