Job Description
The Senior Certified Nursing Assistant (SCNA) provides direct nursing care to residents of the State Veterans' Nursing Home of Florida, under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The incumbent will assist with all aspects of resident care, including activities of daily living, ambulation, and mobility in the facility.
Requirements
- Must have current Florida Certified Nursing Assistant License
- Must be willing and able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to communicate effective in English: reading, writing, speaking, and understanding
- Must have basic computer skills
- Successful completion of the due diligence process to include, but not limited to, a Level II background check and drug test
