Job Description
The Senior Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor will provide independent professional vocational rehabilitation counseling to individuals with a diversity of disabilities in order to help them attain employment. The position involves providing and coordinating complex services, technical assistance, and developing individual plans for employment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a field of study reasonably related to vocational rehabilitation
- 2+ years of paid or unpaid experience consisting of direct work with individuals with disabilities, advocacy activities, direct experience as an employer, small business owner, or operator, or self-employment
- Advanced degree in a field such as vocational rehabilitation counseling, law, psychology, disability studies, or business administration, plus 1+ year of paid or unpaid experience
